Planning Board Public Hearing - PB 14-13, Cortlandt Crossing

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
 
            PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the PLANNING BOARD of the TOWN OF CORTLANDT will conduct a Public Hearing on the application of Acadia Cortlandt Crossing, LLC  for Site Development Plan approval pursuant to Chapter 307, Article XII (Site Development Plan Approval) and for permits pursuant to Chapter 179 (Wetlands), Chapter 259 (Steep Slopes), and Chapter 283 (Tree Removal) of the Town of Cortlandt Code for a 170,000 sq. ft. shopping center, parking, landscaping and other site amenities as shown on a 10 page set of drawings entitled “Cortlandt Crossing”  prepared by Divney, Tung & Schwalbe, LLP dated October 24, 2014.
 
The subject property of approximately 36 acres is located on the north side of East Main Street (Route 6) approximately 250 feet west of Baker Street is designated on the Town of Cortlandt Tax Maps as Section 24.06, Block 1, Lot 4.
 
            The Town of Cortlandt Town Board is acting as Lead Agency on the subject project.  The subject project received a Positive Declaration under the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) requiring the preparation of a Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS).    A Scope for an  Environmental Impact Statement was adopted by the Town Board and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) dated November 18, 2014 was submitted to the Town Board.  Public Hearings on the DEIS were held by the Town Board on January 13, 2015  and February 10, 2015.
 
            Persons may review said application and drawings at the Planning Office, Cortlandt Town Hall, 1 Heady Street, Cortlandt Manor, New York between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, except holidays.
 
            SAID HEARING will be conducted in the Vincent F. Nyberg General Meeting Room at the Cortlandt Town Hall, 1 Heady Street, Cortlandt Manor, New York on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 7:00 P.M. or as soon thereafter as possible at which time all interested persons will be heard.
