From the New York State DOT.  A project to improve safety along the Bear Mountain Parkway (within the City of Peekskill and the Town of Cortlandt) has been awarded and is beginning construction.  The New York State Department of Transportation will hold an Information Meeting about “What to expect during Construction” at the Cortlandt Town Hall, 1 Heady Street, Cortlandt Manor, NY at 7PM on Thursday September 5^th.
