PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

 

            PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the PLANNING BOARD of the TOWN OF CORTLANDT will conduct a Public Hearing pursuant to Chapter 265 Subdivision of Land and Chapter 259 Steep Slopes of  the Town of Cortlandt Code on the application of  Sarah Gillen and Robert Jersey for a proposed 2 lot minor subdivision of 3.9 acres located on the west side of Furnace Woods Road, approximately 1,500 feet south of Maple Ave as shown on a 2 page set of drawings entitled “Subdivision Plan prepared for Robert Jersey” prepared by Ralph G. Mastromonaco, P.E., latest revision dated November 17, 2004.

            The subject property is zoned R-40, Single Family Residential and is located on the west side of Furnace Woods Road approximately 1,500 south of Maple Avenue at 119 Furnace Woods Road and designated on the Town of Cortlandt Tax Maps as Section 44.12, Block 1, Lot 6.

             Pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 of the State Environmental Quality Review Regulations the subject application is an unlisted action for which a negative declaration is being considered.

            Persons may review said application and drawing at the Planning Office in the Cortlandt Town Hall, 1 Heady Street, Cortlandt Manor, New York, between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, except holidays. 

            SAID HEARING will be conducted in the Vincent F. Nyberg General Meeting Room at the Cortlandt Town Hall, 1 Heady Street, Cortlandt Manor, New York on Tuesday evening, February 1, 2005 at 8:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as possible at which time all interested persons will be heard.
