PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

      PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the PLANNING BOARD of the TOWN OF CORTLANDT will conduct a Public Hearing pursuant to Chapter 307 (Zoning) of the Town of Cortlandt Code on the application of  Galileo Cortlandt, LLC by CBL & Associates Management Inc. for Site Development Plan approval for the construction of a 30,000 sq. ft. Best Buy Store located at the site of the former Frank’s Nursery at the Cortlandt Town Center as shown on a 6 page set of drawings entitled “Best Buy at Cortlandt Town Center” prepared by Divney, Tung, Schwalbe, L.L.P. dated March 24, 2005 and on a drawing entitled “Elevations” prepared by Howell, Belanger, Castelli Architects, PC latest revision dated April 22, 2005.

            The subject property of 122.5 acres is zoned, CD, Designed Commercial and is located on the south side Route 6, east of Westbrook Drive and is designated on the Town of Cortlandt Tax Maps as Section 24.10, Block 1, Lots 1, 1.2, 2, & 3.

             Pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 of the State Environmental Quality Review Regulations the subject application is an unlisted action and includes a Full Environmental Assessment Form.

      Persons may review said application and drawings at the Planning Office in the Cortlandt Town Hall, 1 Heady Street, Cortlandt Manor, New York, between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, except holidays.

            SAID HEARING will be conducted in the Vincent F. Nyberg General Meeting Room at the Cortlandt Town Hall, 1 Heady Street, Cortlandt Manor, New York on Wednesday evening, June 1, 2005 at 8:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as possible at which time all interested persons will be heard.
