Hillside Estates - Public Hearing

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

            PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the PLANNING BOARD of the TOWN OF CORTLANDT will conduct a Public Hearing pursuant to Chapter 265 (Subdivision of Land),  Chapter 259 (Steep Slopes) and Chapter 283 (Tree Removal) of the Town of Cortlandt Code on the application of Jesse Stackhouse and John DeIulio for Preliminary Plat Approval and Steep Slope and Tree Removal Permits for a 5 lot major subdivision as shown on a drawing entitled “Improvement & Integrated Plot Plan for Hillside Estates”, latest revision dated October 20, 2006 and as shown on drawings entitled “Erosion and Sediment Control Plan” and “Profiles and Details” latest revision dated January 27, 2006, all prepared by Badey & Watson, P.C.  This application also involves a lot line adjustment with the adjacent property owned by Shimon and Joyce Bendavid at 167 Locust Avenue.

            The subject property of 6.6 acres is zoned R-20, Single Family Residential and is located on the north side of Locust Avenue, 500 feet east of Gabriel Drive and designated on the Town of Cortlandt Tax Maps as Section 23.12, Block 1, Lots 7 & 8.

             Pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 of the State Environmental Quality Review Regulations the subject application is an unlisted action.

            Persons may review said application and drawings at the Planning Office in the Cortlandt Town Hall, 1 Heady Street, Cortlandt Manor, New York, between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, except holidays. 

            SAID HEARING will be conducted in the Vincent F. Nyberg General Meeting Room at the Cortlandt Town Hall, 1 Heady Street, Cortlandt Manor, New York on Tuesday evening, December 5, 2006 at 8:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as possible at which time all interested persons will be heard.
