PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the PLANNING BOARD of the TOWN OF CORTLANDT will conduct a Public Hearing pursuant to Chapter 307 (Zoning) of the Town of Cortlandt Code and for a Wetland Permit pursuant to Chapter 179 and a Tree Removal Permit pursuant to Chapter 283 of the Town of Cortlandt Code on the application of Congregation Yeshiva Ohr Hamier for Site Development Plan approval for the construction of a new dormitory building with a classroom wing, future staff housing, the renovation or demolition of existing buildings, related site improvements including, but not limited to, the access drive, utilities, drainage, lighting, signage, landscaping and a sanitary sewer connection to the Red Oak Sewer District for property located at 141 Furnace Woods Road as shown on a drawing entitled “Proposed Site Plan prepared for Yeshiva Ohr Hamier” latest revision dated November 22, 2006 prepared by Ralph G. Mastromonaco, P.E. and on 3 drawings entitled “Proposed Renovations” (dated 10/19/06), “New Building Elevations” (dated 8/25/06) and “New Site Lighting/Signage” (dated 11/1/06) all prepared by KG&D Architects.
The subject property of 37.32 acres is zoned R-40, single family residential, is located at 141 Furnace Woods Road and is designated on the Town of Cortlandt Tax Maps as Section 44.12, Block 1, Lot 3.
Pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 of the State Environmental Quality Review Regulations the subject application is an unlisted action and includes an Environmental Assessment Form.
Persons may review said application and drawings at the Planning Office in the Cortlandt Town Hall, 1 Heady Street, Cortlandt Manor, New York, between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, except holidays.
SAID HEARING will be conducted in the Vincent F. Nyberg General Meeting Room at the Cortlandt Town Hall, 1 Heady Street, Cortlandt Manor, New York on Tuesday evening, January 9, 2007 at 8:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as possible at which time all interested persons will be heard.
