Public Hearing - VS Construction, Roa Hook Road

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

      PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the PLANNING BOARD of the TOWN OF CORTLANDT will conduct a Public Hearing pursuant to Chapter 307 (Zoning) of the Town of Cortlandt Code and for a Steep Slope Permit pursuant to Chapter 259 and a Tree Removal Permit Pursuant to Chapter 283 of the Town of Cortlandt code on the application of the V.S Construction Corp. for a proposed one-story 5,150 sq. ft. retail/commercial building located on the northwest side of Roa Hook Road (Route 9), approximately 600 feet north of the Annsville Circle as shown on a 6 page set of drawings entitled “Site Development Plan for V.S. Construction Corp.” prepared by Timothy L. Cronin, III, P.E. latest revision dated October 20, 2006 and a 3 page set of elevation drawings entitled “Proposed Commercial Building for VS Construction” prepared by Gemmola & McWilliams, L.L. P. dated September 22, 2006.

            The subject property of 28,061 sq. ft. is zoned, HC, Highway Commercial, is located on the northwest side of Roa Hook Road approximately 600 feet north of the Annsville Circle and is designated on the Town of Cortlandt Tax Maps as Section 22.20, Block 2, Lot 1.

             Pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 of the State Environmental Quality Review Regulations the subject application is an unlisted action and includes an Environmental Assessment Form.

      Persons may review said application and drawings at the Planning Office in the Cortlandt Town Hall, 1 Heady Street, Cortlandt Manor, New York, between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, except holidays. 

            SAID HEARING will be conducted in the Vincent F. Nyberg General Meeting Room at the Cortlandt Town Hall, 1 Heady Street, Cortlandt Manor, New York on Tuesday evening, January 9, 2007 at 8:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as possible at which time all interested persons will be heard.
