BRUSH PICKUP GUIDELINES

(Please note brush removal is now handled by the Sanitation Division)

Brush pickup is a courtesy service, please adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Only branches 6 inches in diameter or less
  • Stacked neatly curbside
  • Butt end of branches facing road
  • Brush must not be longer than 10 feet in length
  • Cannot be tied or bundled

Brush Service is not available for whole tree takedowns, or wooded lot clean up.  We do not remove debris placed curbside by private contractors or landscapers.  They are responsible for removing their own debris.  We do not pick up any logs, stumps, lumber, railroad ties, building materials, dead wood, brush with root balls attached, vines or vine & thorn entangled brush.

We reserve the right to refuse pick up of any brush stop that does not follow these guidelines.

WHEN THESE REQUIREMENTS ARE MET, PLEASE CALL D.E.S./SANITATION AT 737-0100 TO ARRANGE PICK UP.

The Sanitation Department also provides organic waste pickup of tied and bundled brush that is under 4 feet and organic waste that is in biodegradable bags or placed loosely in a garbage can.  Please see the Sanitation schedule for the date of our next regularly scheduled organic waste pickup.  Place items curbside the day prior to this scheduled date.
