Military Tribute Banners

The Town of Cortlandt is pleased to announce that the new Military Tribute Banners for the 2021 season have been displayed. This program, now in its second year, is a beautiful tribute to honor and thank all of our brave men and women who have defended our Country and fought for our freedoms in America. We are proud to support this program and appreciate those families that have participated by ordering banners for their loved ones, especially as we remember their sacrifices during this Memorial Day.

The banners can be viewed along Route 9A near the VA Hospital in Montrose and along Oregon Road in the northern part of Cortlandt, which is a new display area in the Town this year.  They will be displayed from Memorial Day 2021 through Veterans Day 2021. Once this period ends, the banners are taken down and given to the family or business that purchased the banner as a keepsake.
