The Town of Cortlandt Recreation Department is accepting applications for the Summer of 2022! Review the seasonal job descriptions below:

Charles J. Cook Pool: Lifeguard

Applicants must be at least 16 years of age. Starting Salary $14.00 per hour. These positions are limited as the number of openings is dependent on how many staff are returning from the previous season. Anyone applying for a Lifeguard position is required to have valid Waterfront Lifeguard/First Aid, CPR for the Professional Rescuer and AED Certifications. The Town of Cortlandt Recreation Department will hold try-outs in early May and positions will be offered on a first come first serve basis. Due to the size of our facility and the nature of its programming, only applicants who excel at try-outs will be hired.

Senior Counselor: Charles J. Cook Day Camp, 5th & 6th Grade Camp, 7th & 8th Grade

Camp Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Starting salaries begin at $12.00 per hour. Applicants will be contacted by phone in May to set up an interview date and time.
