PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

            PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the PLANNING BOARD of the TOWN OF CORTLANDT will conduct a Public Hearing on the application of Congregation Yeshiva Ohr Hameir for Site Development Plan Approval pursuant to Chapter 307 of the Town of Cortlandt Zoning Code and for a Wetland Permit pursuant to Chapter 179 and a Tree Removal Permit pursuant to Chapter 283 of the Town of Cortlandt Code and for a Special Permit pursuant to Section 307-50 of the Town of Cortlandt Zoning Code for a Seminary for the construction of a new on-site wastewater treatment plant and for the renovation/reconstruction of the existing Dodge City Building for classroom and dormitory space for property located at 141 Furnace Woods Road  as shown  on a 3 page set of drawings entitled “Site Plan prepared for Yeshiva Ohr Hameir” latest revision dated June 18, 2009 prepared by Ralph Mastromonaco, P.E. and a 2 page set of drawings entitled “Dormitory Renovation/Reconstruction” prepared by KG&D Architects, undated(with a presentation date of July 7, 2009).

            The subject property of 37.32 acres is zoned R-40, single family residential, is located at 141 Furnace Woods Road and is designated on the Town of Cortlandt Tax Maps as Section 44.12, Block 1, Lot 3.

             Pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617 of the State Environmental Quality Review Regulations the subject application is an unlisted action and includes an Environmental Assessment Form.

            Persons may review said application and drawings at the Planning Office in the Cortlandt Town Hall, 1 Heady Street, Cortlandt Manor, New York, between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, except holidays. 

                        SAID HEARING will be conducted in the Vincent F. Nyberg General Meeting Room at the Cortlandt Town Hall, 1 Heady Street, Cortlandt Manor, New York on Tuesday evening, July 7, 2009 at 8:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as possible that evening at which time all interested persons will be heard.
