Available Shifts
Applicants must be available to work at least one of the following shifts:

  • Rotating Fridays: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM

  • Rotating Saturdays: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM

  • Per Diem Substitute: Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM or 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Position Summary
The Town of Cortlandt Recreation Department is seeking responsible, dependable, and enthusiastic Youth Supervisors to join the team at the Cortlandt Youth Center. Youth Supervisors help provide a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for middle school and high school-aged youth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Open and close the facility as assigned.

  • Manage youth registration and attendance.

  • Supervise middle school and high school-aged youth.

  • Engage with youth in a positive, respectful, and productive manner.

  • Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all participants.

  • Address behavioral concerns and disciplinary situations appropriately.

  • Enforce facility rules, program guidelines, and all applicable policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

  • Ability to supervise and engage youth effectively.

  • Strong judgment and the ability to respond appropriately to behavioral concerns.

  • Ability to maintain a safe, respectful, and structured environment.

  • Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently as needed.

Additional Information
Hourly Rate: $17.60

Position Summary
The Town of Cortlandt Recreation Department is seeking responsible, dependable, and enthusiastic Youth Supervisors for the Canteen Basketball program at the Muriel H. Morabito Community Center. Youth Supervisors help ensure that participants have a safe, positive, and well-supervised environment during program hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Open and close the facility as assigned.
  • Manage youth registration and attendance.
  • Supervise middle school and high school-aged participants.
  • Promote positive participation, sportsmanship, and respectful behavior.
  • Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all participants.
  • Address behavioral concerns and disciplinary situations appropriately.
  • Enforce facility rules, program guidelines, and all applicable policies and procedures.

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
