ADOPTED ANNSVILLE WATERFRONT ENHANCEMENT ZONING

The Town Board heard public comment on the proposed Annsville Waterfront Enhancement (AWE) zoning at their Janaury 24, 2023 Town Board meeting.  The Board closed the public hearing adopted a Negative Declaration as required by the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) determining that the adoption of the AWE zoning should not have a significant adverse environmental impact.

The Board formally adopted the AWE zoning at their February 14, 2023 meeting.

Background Information

The Town is considering a proposed re-zoning of approximately 40 parcels around the Annsville Circle to create a new zoning district.  The rezoning will be from HC Highway-Commercial to AWE, Annsville Waterfront Enhancement.  Below please find the draft zoning text and a PowerPoint presentation describing the proposed rezoning.
