Happy International Women’s Day!

This year, International Women’s Day celebrates women with the theme #ChooseToChallenge: A challenged world is an alert world and from challenge comes change. Today we celebrate women’s achievement, raise awareness against bias and take action for equality.

In the Town of Cortlandt, we’re lucky to have many amazing female elected officials to look up to, including our Town Supervisor Linda Puglisi, Town Councilwoman Debra Carter, Tax Receiver Mary Breining, Town Clerk Laroue Rose Shatzkin, Town Justice Kimberly Ragazzo, and Town Justice Maritza Fugaro-Norton!
