This is the Cortlandt Consolidated Water District with an important message regarding water service to your area.  Emergency water main repairs are currently underway by the Northern Westchester Joint Water Works and the Montrose Improvement District on a large transmission water main located on Montrose Station Road that supplies water to the Town of Cortlandt.

While repairs are being performed we have switched to an alternate source and are working to restore water to your area. We will continue to post updates on our website at www.townofcortlandt.com as more information is reported to us from the Joint Waterworks and the Montrose Improvement District staff.

During the changeover and final restoration process you may experience intermittent loss of water or low water pressure.  Once the system has been fully restored, you may experience discolored water or air in your lines. We ask that you refrain from washing clothing until the cold water in your home runs clear.
