Today, March 29 is recognized as National Vietnam War Veterans Day to honor the courage and sacrifice of those who served in Vietnam. This year marks the 52nd anniversary since the last combat troops departed from Vietnam and the last prisoners of war held in North Vietnam arrived on American soil.
