“Over the past 30 years I am PROUD of the balance this administration has achieved between economic growth, preservation of the land and in providing many acres of open space for passive recreation.

At the same time even with the rational, moderate economic growth and with the acquisition or transfer of lands to the town (over 3,000 acres) our town treasury is very strong with more than sufficient fund balances.  Also, we have never had to go over a 2% town tax increase for our taxpayers and for almost half of these 30 years we’ve had a zero % increase each year.

So, our well thought out, long term plans worked for the benefit of all of our residents, families and for the generations to come.  We have also been big supporters of our local businesses.

I am very proud of this amazing record and thank everyone who helped me and others achieve these goals (town board members, staff, especially our planners, legal and financial team, and as always our community)”.
