Why is it important for America to remember events like Pearl Harbor (December 7, 1941)? The Town of Cortlandt Government is asking students to submit an essay. Students must be in grades 5-12 and attend a school district in the Town of Cortlandt. The selected student will be invited to the Pearl Harbor Remembrance Ceremony to read their essay. All submissions must be 200 words or less and received by Friday, December 1.
