Green Team/Climate Smart Task Force
Started in 2009, the Green Team/Climate Smart Task Force is a committee formed of representatives from various Town of Cortlandt departments and the community that meet quarterly to support the development and implementation of climate action strategies in support of the Town’s Climate Smart initiatives.

- Food Composting
- Shop and Dine Local
The Green Team actively works to identify actions that will reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve energy efficiency, and support climate change adaptation town-wide and in our everyday governmental operations.
