June & Summer at the YC

Parents check out our upcoming programs for youth entering grades K - 12th this summer.

June & Upcoming Summer Programs at the YC! 

The Cortlandt Youth Center is currently open Monday – Saturday for youth in Grades 6th – 12th. 
 
Youth must be registered participants of the Youth Center. All YC programs & courses require pre-registration through Community Pass, click here to register for the YC and programs. 
 
Parents Sign Your Children Up for one or more of our Summer Courses! 

Bookworm Summer Reading Club on Zoom (Entering Grade 6th-8th) 
Classes on Mondays & Wednesdays for 6th Graders & on Tuesdays & Thursdays for 7th & 8th Graders beginning June 28; 7 weeks; times vary (FREE)

Cortlandt Kids Cabaret at the YC (Entering Grades 4th – 9th) 
Monday- Friday, July 19-23 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Creative Cooking Session I on Zoom (Entering Grades K – 5th) Monday- Friday, June 28 – July 2 from 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM

Creative Cooking Session II on Zoom (Entering Grades K – 5th) 
Monday- Friday, July 12 – July 16 from 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM

Musical Theater Workshop Session I at the YC (Entering Grades 2nd – 8th) 
Monday- Friday, August 9 – August 13 from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM – final performance of “Annie” on Friday

Musical Theater Workshop Session II at the YC (Entering Grades 2nd – 8th) 
Monday- Friday, August 16 – August 20 from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM – final performance of “Alice in Wonderland” on Friday

Pen Pal Snail Mail on Zoom(Grade 6th-12th)
Classes on Mondays beginning June 28; 6 weeks (no class 7/5) from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM (FREE)

Interview Skills 101 (Ages 14 – 18), Saturday, June 12 from 2:15 PM – 3:15 PM at the YC

 

Attention Blue Mount Middle School Parents

If your child will be attending BMMS in 2021-2022 and wants to take the YC to the YC the bus form is due by Friday, July 2nd. Click here for more information.
